Thailand today is more like a coffee country, as many-many of new coffee shops opens yearly - thanks to the strong international campaigns of big coffee players. So its no surprise "why?" rare men even among the old tea lovers ever heard about the good teas from Thailand. However in the north of the country its a area of ancient tea trees from 100 up to 500-600 years old. Further to the border with Myanmar you can meet even 1000 y old trees, as was discovered by experts of this small company. Since our first degustation years ago, Tea Side is our long time favorite store with wide range of self-produced teas, made from tea trees live in North of Thailand & Burma.
Picture

Shu - ripe & fermented pu-erh - good collection of long lasting Shu puerhs, both pressed in 200-  & 357 gram cakes and loose leaf, including #0101 - old time bestseller!
Cheng - raw, non-fermented pu-erh,also  available
pressed in 200 g super tea-cakes and loose leaf. We love them all + Burmese Cheng from ancient trees.
Oolong - wide range of differently-roasted Oolongs, now its Jin Xuan on our table. Also advice Royal Guy Fei, Taiwanese-style oolongs such as Dun Din, Dun Fan Mei Jen & Sy Czi Chun.
Red teas - stable, classic taste of good red tea #5, #1 & #2.

White pu-erh - among the favorite - pressed and loose leaf of white tea made in Jue Guan Bay.
Matcha - good fresh Matcha from

Exclusive - Chen pu-erh from 1000 years old tea trees.
Link - Tea Side on Russian, but its easy to use and order using G-translate. Delivery worldwide should be easy, as we heard from the friends who use it.
